The statutory consultation runs from Thursday 6 March to Monday 21 April 2025.

This statutory consultation will give you the opportunity to examine our latest proposals and provide your comments / responses for our consideration before this Development of National Significance (DNS) application is finalised and submitted to Planning Environment Decisions Wales.

We’re holding drop in events where you can find out how our proposals have evolved since our informal consultation, discuss the draft application and ask our team any questions you may have.

Monday 24 March 2025, 2:00pm – 7:00pm at Treforest Community Centre

Tuesday 25 March 2025, 11:30am – 4:30pm at Rhydyfelin Community Centre

We welcome your views on the proposals and hope to see you at one of our events.

Paper copies of the feedback form can be sent to Freepost GRASSHOPPER CONSULT (no stamp or further address required).

After the consultation has closed, we will prepare a consultation report demonstrating how we have reviewed and responded to all the feedback received. This report will accompany the planning application which will be submitted to Planning and Environment Decisions Wales (PEDW) for determination.

Any information provided will only be used for the purpose of the planning application to the Planning and Environment Decisions Wales (PEDW). Your contact details will not be listed within the planning application documentation. Please complete General Data Protection Regulation section on the feedback form to indicate whether you wish to be kept informed by PEDW of future consultations on the application.

Feedback from the statutory consultation, along with the results of a range of site investigations and surveys, will help us refine our proposals ready for submission of the final planning application to Planning Environment Decisions Wales (PEDW) for consideration.

During PEDW’s examination of the planning application you will have an opportunity to review and comment on the final proposals.
