We committed to early and proactive engagement with the local community, with two rounds of consultation, beginning in early 2024. As part of our local engagement we wrote to over 10,000 local homes and hosted in-person exhibitions.

Community feedback helped us to improve many elements of the final plans during both rounds of consultation. Following our Pre-Application Consultation, we have reduced the number of panels to further protect local ancient woodland, amended the haul route to avoid congested areas, and have undertaken a Private Water Supply Assessment and Peat Study.
